What we do?

From poverty eradication to education, healthcare and retirement savings, behavioural insights (BI) aims to improve policy outcomes and thus wellbeing of the people.

At Behavioural Insights Consultancy, we offer the  following:

  • Talk and training 
  • Consultancy services – studies, including behavioural intervention design. 

We are guided by established BI practices, such as OECD’s BASIC framework, UK BIT’s EAST guideline and Malaysia’s very own PRIME framework.

  • Behavioural intervention study on payment of tax arrears for Sungai Petani City Council, Kedah.
  • Study on intellectual property (trademark application) among SMEs for Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) (Projek Peningkatan Kesedaran dan Pematuhan Perlindungan Harta Intelek).
  • Technical Expert (Advisor) on  Behavioural Insights Approach to Encourage  F&B Businesses to Adopt e-Commerce.
  • Behavioural study among residents of low-cost flats for Kuantan City Council (Perunding bagi Meningkatkan Kesedaran Komuniti Kediaman Pangsapuri Kos Rendah untuk Menjaga Kemudahan Awam yang disediakan oleh Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan (PBT)).  
  • Study on Traders’ Mindset in Retail and Food & Beverage Subsector on Cashless Transaction (Adoption of E-Wallet: Cashless Business Transaction).
  • Behavioural Insights e-payment Project – Three (3) Local Authorities of Negeri Sembilan.
  • Socioeconomic policy for a government agency, incorporating behavioural insights.
  • Policy paper on retirement savings among Employee Provident Fund (EPF) members.
